For this recent project in Tahawai, near Katikati, our team at Deck & Fence Co designed, fabricated and installed a beautiful

The project involved multiple new Garapa hardwood decks, a custom aluminium pergola fully enclosed with sliding glass doors, and carefully designed steps and handrails to make moving between the house and garden easier.

A deck is more than just an outdoor feature — it’s an extension of your home.

Our client wanted to replace an ageing timber boundary fence and outdated gate that had seen better days. The existing fence was leaning, weathered and no longer provided the tidy street-facing appearance they were after.

Choosing a new fence is about more than just how it looks. The material you choose will affect how long your fence lasts, how much maintenance it requires, how easy it is to repair, and how well it performs in New Zealand conditions.

Under New Zealand’s building regulations, some decks can be built without a building consent, while others require approval.

At Deck & Fence Co, we build custom fencing solutions across Tauranga, helping homeowners create secure, practical and attractive outdoor spaces for the whole family - including four-legged family members.
